About Henry Coaster Memorial School

Henry Coaster Memorial School is a K-8 elementary school located in Marten Falls First Nation, Ogoki Post, Ontario. Established in 1985, our school serves approximately 60 students from Kindergarten through Grade 8 with a dedicated team of 25 staff members.

As a First Nations school in Northern Ontario, Henry Coaster Memorial School provides culturally-responsive education that integrates Oji-Cree language instruction, traditional knowledge, and land-based learning with the Ontario curriculum. Our small class sizes ensure every student receives personalized attention and support.

Located in the remote community of Marten Falls First Nation, Henry Coaster Memorial School is committed to helping students walk in the footsteps of their ancestors while achieving their dreams through quality education rooted in Indigenous culture and values.
